
Dr. Kikiope Oluwarore

Kikiope Oluwarore is a public health professional, writer and founder of One Health and Development Initiative (OHDI), a nonprofit and media organization. She leads the OHDI Team to publish stories and investigative articles on correlated issues of Public Health and One Health, and facilitates the One Health Advocacy and Mentorship (OHAM) Program.
She has a DVM degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria; and as a Commonwealth Scholar, she completed her MSc degree in Global Health and Infectious Diseases from the University of Edinburgh.
She has managed health projects with the nonprofits Education as a Vaccine (EVA) and Carrington Youth Fellowship Initiative (CYFI) of the United States Consulate, Nigeria. As a writer, she has worked on health journalism projects with ImpactAFRICA program and Internews’ respectively, and has published in several media platforms. She is interested in issues of infectious disease management, NTD eradication, relevant advocacy/policy influencing and One Health collaborations.
