Dr. Sallah is a Gambian scientist and Senior Research fellow in Genetic Epidemiology University College London. Her research focuses on understanding the influence of our genetics on disease to develop better diagnostics, inform therapeutic development, provide important information for clinical decision making and health policy at population scale. Neneh is passionate about facilitating global equity in scientific advances and health.

She co-founded “Health Science 4 Gambia” to increase access to STEM, facilitate representation and strengthen the research and health sectors of The Gambia. Neneh is also a Director of OXCAMP, an educational not-for-profit that mentors’ talented and less-advantaged African students, particularly girls, to address gaps in educational and gender inequality. Neneh is also a Lindau Nobel Laureate Fellow and a McKinsey & Co. Next generation Women Leader.
