I am a Global Health advocate, serving as Regional Director for Africa and Vice President for Members-elect at the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) working on increasing the engagement and involvement of IFMSA’s 129 member countries, creating capacity building and health diplomacy opportunities for the 1,3 million medical students under IFMSA.
I am the second African to ever be elected IFMSA’s Vice President for Members. As Regional Director I led the Region in adopting advocacy priorities in Universal Health Coverage and Global Health Leadership that have helped IFMSA form meaningful alliances among young future healthcare practitioners in Africa. I also run a local philanthropic organisation that assists high schools access books. A belief in integrity, accountability, collaboration and transparency guides my work. I am a public speaker, rugby player and an ardent lover of literature. A good cup of coffee is a guaranteed way to my heart.
