HR Professional
Although I am an HR professional by trade, my passion lies in storytelling in the forms of creating videos, storyboards and slideshows.
I dream of one day directing my own film and have a big Hollywood production house produce it. Till that time, I will keep on making videos on social issues, and try to do my part in making the world a better place.
What inspired you to enter the World NTD Day Story telling competition?
Every article and video that you would find on NTDs are quite serious in tone. This made me want to create a video on NTDs that is not as serious and would be fun to watch even to a layman on the topic.
Why does fighting NTDs matter to you?
Being from Bangladesh, one of the more affected and vulnerable countries for NTDs, fighting these diseases are both important and personal to me.
How do you intend on continuing the fight against NTDs after this competition?
I am an aspiring filmmaker. I would like to create more videography works on the topic of NTDs in the coming days. My ultimate ambition on this would be to create an hour-long documentary on the fight against NTDs in Bangladesh.
What would be your request to your country’s leaders regarding fighting NTDs?
I would want my country’s leaders to formulate more effective policies against this fight, and allocate more funds in projects that aim to eradicate NTDs.
