PHARMACEUTICAL Student
My name is Gelareh Abdolmaleki. I am currently pursuing a degree in Pharmacy at Tehran University of Medical Science (TUMS) and I love research.
Research makes me more motivated, as a student and human being, I care about other people’s health and believe that every individual deserves good health. Awareness is the best way to improve the quality of life, and we are here to help.
What inspired you to enter the World NTD Day Story telling competition?
As I said in the video, awareness is an important subject that has a specific place in my life and awareness is the centralization of this competition.
Why does fighting NTDs matter to you?
In my opinion, karma exists in our life, helping other people make us more motivated to achieve our future plans.
How do you intend on continuing the fight against NTDs after this competition?
I think content production does not depend on this competition. it’s a continuable process that takes time to effect.
What would be your request to your country’s leaders regarding fighting NTDs?
Primary health care is a health priority for any region, which, in small cities and villages, often lacks these facilities, but these facilities have improved over time, but perhaps have not reached their full potential. I request that leaders make quality healthcare available to the people to prevent diseases.
