YCNTDs Convenes COP28-targeted Online Advocacy
On 30 November – 12 December, the UAE, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, will host the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference known as COP28 to discuss the issue of climate change and its solutions.
During this time, YCNTDs will leverage its newly launched Advocacy Toolkit, and particularly the Climate Change theme to:
- Raise awareness about the cross-sectoral link between Climate Change and NTDs, and
- Generate demand for NTD services in endemic countries.
YCNTDs also supports the Reaching the Last Mile Forum which will gather stakeholders on 3 December to celebrate progress and new commitments made to #BeatNTDs.
